Who you are

- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field with a minimum of 8+ years of professional work experience including 5–8+ years of experience in operations, vendor management, program management, or financial operations
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs
- High integrity and ownership: you protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables
- Proven track record of building and scaling vendor networks
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex operations and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- Analytical Rigor: Expert-level ability to use data to tell a story, identify trends, and drive action in a fast-paced environment
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate a complex, global matrix organization
- Advanced working skill set with Salesforce, Tableau, and MS Office / Google Suite
What the job involves
- This role sits within the Program Management team in the SMB & Channel sales team
- As a Lead Program Manager for Global Vendor Operations, you’ll be responsible for shaping how Pinterest manages critical vendor partnerships and serve as a key operator at the intersection of operations, risk, legal, procurement, and business performance
- This role will help define how Pinterest measures vendor success, how performance issues are identified and escalated, and how operating cadence and accountability are standardized globally
- Establish and maintain global performance performance scorecards to monitor vendor performance, quality, and timeliness
- Use AI to create scalable tracking and alerting mechanisms to ensure vendor compliance against contractual terms
- Serve as the global escalation point for vendor performance issues; triage, prioritize, and manage resolution across regions, consolidating insights for executive teams
- Lead breach management: RCA facilitation, corrective action plan development, execution tracking, and verification of sustained recovery
- Maintain an auditable record of vendor adherence, breaches, actions taken, and outcomes to support contract management decisions
- Run global vendor operating cadence (monthly / quarterly), ensuring clear performance narratives and documented follow-ups
- Own accuracy of vendor tracking systems (i.e. onboarding / offboarding processes, supervisory orgs in Workday, etc.) and drive standardization across vendor processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vendor efficiency and cost-effectiveness
