Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Business Controller, you will partner with stakeholders of our two SaaS products, working closely with the Finance Director to transform financial and operational data into actionable business insights
- Your expertise will help guide strategic decisions and drive growth within our organisation
- Partner with stakeholders of our SaaS products to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
- Collaborate with the Finance Director to analyze financial and operational data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve business objectives
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior management
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial performance
