Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of related work experience in brand, product marketing, and/or publishing.(3 yrs working on one game from before launch)
- 5+ years working with games as a service or other service-oriented products
- 3+ years of experience leading global Marketing teams
- Both Agency and in-house experience are strongly preferred
- Have a rich repertoire of top resources and the ability to use them
- Great at content planning
- Strong data analysis skills
- Enjoy various game experiences and love the game sector
- Fluency in Chinese is preferred with English fluency being a requirement
- Extensive familiarity with the user characteristics of the US market
- Strong communication and execution skills
What the job involves
- Given the characteristics of the product, the market, and the users demonstrated in the local area, generate creative ideas or idea optimization that are locally relevant
- Produce on- and offline event ideas, outreach, establish a rapport with suppliers and other cooperating partners and facilitate the implementation of event ideas
- Create event campaign content, draw up incentive plans, benchmark content assignments, and coordinate with the content department and external partners to execute content production, launch, and data feedback
- Coordinate across teams to build best-in-class Marketing Strategies with a focus on broadening our global reach, particularly in the North American region
- Collect, analyze, and explore data to discover new business potential and propose new marketing methods, collaborations, and user interaction ideas with an eye for implementing unconventional cases
- Work with various internal teams (insights, community, research, etc.) to identify gaps in audience knowledge and design research and analysis to address them
Our take
HoYoverse is the game studio behind such titles as "Genshin Impact" and "Honkai: Star Rail". It has found plenty of success so far by delivering what it calls "immersive virtual world experiences".
Besides its game products, the company has also launched a desktop software called "N0va Desktop", and a community forum known as "HoYoLAB". Through these, its players can further immerse themselves in the brand, fostering loyalty and repeat purchases.
With a staggering number of downloads, HoYoverse's titles are undeniably popular. The company's future looks promising. Its much-anticipated "Zenless Zone Zero" was released in July 2024 and has since amassed over US$306 million in revenue across both mobile and console platforms.
