Senior Backend Software Engineer, Switch

• Extensive experience in programming with Python 3
• Experience working with SQL databases like PostgreSQL
• Experience working with NoSQL databases like Redis
• A strong focus on writing quality code that is:
• Crafted to be simple to understand, maintain, and change
• Reliable and performant, i.e. well tested across different devices

• Experience working with RESTful APIs

• Write modular and maintainable Python code that runs on a server platform running in the cloud, with a focus on SaaS
• Implement roaming protocols like OCPI and OICP
• Assist on the implementation of the OCPP 2.0.1 protocol and its successor versions
• Work closely with our frontend software engineers and UX/Ui designers
• Collaborate with the hardware development team of our partners and clients who develop EV charging communication controllers and charging stations
