Role
Who you are
- At least 5+ years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering with expertise in scalable system design and architecture
- A strong product instinct focused on delivering incredible user experiences to customers coupled with the ability to think strategically about the future to address market opportunities and customer needs
- A winning mindset, you excel in fast-moving environments and are adept at starting and growing projects. You have a knack for tackling new challenges, finding innovative solutions, being unafraid of setbacks, and working collaboratively to achieve results
What the job involves
- We’re looking for senior engineers to architect the next-generation execution, deployment, governance, and auditing layer for AI applications and workflows
- You’d be joining our all-star team with deep expertise in large-scale execution/data infrastructure, AI-native application architecture, database designs, and observability. If you love working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment, this role is for you
- Design and develop robust environments for application development, including an AI governance framework, a low-latency API execution engine, and scalable pipelines for audit and observability
- Implement scalable, robust architectures supporting multi-tenancy and hybrid on-premise deployments, complete with an API and security layer and a fully extensible integrations platform
- Build strong connections by working directly with customers and design partners, gathering insights and feedback to drive the development of new features and enhance the platform's capabilities
- Strategize with the product team to shape the future roadmap. Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in software and AI, integrating these insights into our strategic planning
Our take
Founders Brad Menezes and Ran Ma went through the same process again and again of building new custom tools at every company they worked for, so they decided to do something about it. Realising that building blocks were usually very similar, they’ve created a a universal building platform that allows companies to build custom tools more quickly and easily than before.
Superblocks' selling point is customization - it has a wide range of app, SSO and monitoring integrations, including Slack, Google, and Datadog. It also offers both a managed service and a hybrid model with open source packages.
But the market for customer tools and workflow automation is a competitive one, with plenty of rivals like Retool and Airplane with good reputations and large customer bases. Superblocks stands in good stead though, with the impressive level of funding it has raised focussed on improving and expanding the range of tools it offers.
