Who you are

Good coding fundamentals ; should be able to produce, receive and review PRs with clean commit histories, should be able to do rebases and resolve merge conflicts
Confident with python ; should have an understanding of algorithm memory & time complexity and big O notation
Pandas - medium ; should be comfortable interpreting and interacting with the data team's code
Strong database skills in SQL and noSQL
Airflow - medium ; experience with provisioning and maintaining an airflow deployment
Experience in acquiring and ingesting new datasets

What the job involves

Own our ETL processes
Monitor and optimise our data processing pipeline
Bring analytical data science prototypes to production
Use industry typical development tools, git, CI/CD pipelines, linting etc on a daily basis
Provide and receive peer code review
Overall, you'll be contributing to performant, maintainable applications in a healthy and sustainable manner
