Role
Who you are
- Previous solid experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a startup or fintech company
- Excellent Python skills and familiarity with relevant frameworks
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and management of ETL processes
- Proficiency in Docker and cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
- Experience in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and/or Data Visualization is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD is a plus
- Excellent English speaking and writing abilities
What the job involves
- Join the Data Science team and play an essential role in developing the company's production data architecture to support Data Science and Business Intelligence needs
- Utilise your extensive knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) to design, implement, and maintain our existing relational database structure while managing ETL processes. Your educational background and work experience will provide a solid foundation for taking on responsibilities in the data engineering field
- Ensure database quality by implementing automated tests and having a deep understanding of the business logic behind the data
- Use your expertise in Python and experience with popular frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, and/or dagster to design, implement, and maintain our data services, applications, and pipelines
- Create and support our data infrastructure while evaluating existing distributed storage and query techniques

In this event, businesses generally resort to debt collection agencies, but this can come across as intimidating, damage customer relationships, and prevent overdue customers from returning.
PAIR Finance leverages artificial intelligence to analyze customer interactions and behavioral data during the debt collection process in order to identify how to make customers more open to payment of their debts. The company also provides industry-specific services for credit scoring, portfolio purchasing, and customer retention, custom-designed for eCommerce, banking, energy and other industries.
Debt collection is a process that has remained stagnant for decades, so PAIR Finance has found a unique niche in the market.
