What the job involves
- Warby Parker is on the lookout for a Senior Manager, FP&A to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team
- In this role, you’ll work with Finance and other leaders to drive insights and analysis of key growth opportunities and operational efficiencies
- You will take on a range of analytical tasks related to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to help drive decision making
- In the process, you’ll take on a range of analytical tasks related to forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analyzing business performance and trends
- Among other duties, you’ll be responsible for understanding and driving detailed analyses related to aspects of our cost of goods sold and gross margin profile
- You’ll report to our Director of Finance and will regularly share insights and analysis with our Chief Financial Officer, Chief Product and Supply Chain Officer, and the broader leadership team
- Create and manage dynamic and scalable financial models that track business metrics and performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Provide integral support on key team deliverables including annual and quarterly budgeting and strategic planning
- Collaborate closely with Product and Supply Chain teams to support near and long-term planning and understand key drivers of business performance
- Lead financial assessment of proposed capital projects and ad hoc analyses to support investment decisions
- Help build and define the FP&A AI strategy and roadmap and champion AI efficiencies across our operations

They say every great idea starts with a problem, and for Warby Parker this was simple - glasses were just too expensive. Inspired by the need to have great-looking frames that didn’t break the bank, the co-founders set out to disrupt the legacy-dominated eyewear market.
Going up against existing big brands was no easy feat. However, by circumventing traditional manufacturing methods, using in-house design, and engaging with customers directly, Warby Parker was able to provide high-quality and good-looking prescription glasses at a fraction of the cost.
The company's retail category disruption has led to it being one of the most successful direct-to-consumer brands of the early 21st century. It managed a successful IPO in 2021, has raised considerable funds and mad a number of high-profile collaborations. Its latest partnership is with Google, which sees the company plan to develop and release a range of AI glasses.
