- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and modern cloud-native engineering practices
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align C-level stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization
- Experience driving large-scale transformations that significantly improved developer productivity, velocity, and satisfaction
- Exceptional communication skills, equally comfortable presenting strategy to senior executive leaders and discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers
- AI literate with hands on ability to go from PRD to Vibe-coding
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
What the job involves
- As the VP of Product for Developer Experience, you will define the vision, strategy, and execution for our internal platforms and developer productivity capabilities
- You’ll partner with senior engineering, security, and product leaders to shape the next generation of tooling and paved paths that enable engineers to deliver innovation faster, with higher quality, and at massive scale
- Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of product managers and developer advocates.
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning while growing future product leaders

- A clear, multi-year vision for Salesforce’s internal developer experience that is fully aligned at the executive level
- Significant reduction in developer friction across onboarding, testing, deploying, and operating code
- Measured improvements in productivity, developer satisfaction, and platform adoption
- Broad cultural shift where engineers prefer paved paths over custom tooling because the experience is intuitive, powerful, and fast
