Who you are
- This role is ideal for someone experienced in building and scaling BDR teams, skilled at developing successful outreach strategies, and passionate about luxury real estate and travel
- Experience managing and scaling BDR teams (preferably enterprise or B2C sales)
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing outreach and lead nurturing strategies
- Customer-first sales approach with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- A life-long learner mindset with a passion for personal and professional growth
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Hubspot) with an ability to function in a tech stack-light environment

- Build and lead a world-class team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
- Develop effective outreach cadences and lead nurturing strategies that drive revenue growth
- Lead from the front by supporting your team in building relationships and closing deals
- Coach and develop your team based on their unique strengths, helping them reach their full potential
- Inspire your team to achieve greatness for themselves and for Wander’s growth
- Identify opportunities within the business and execute projects to improve our sales processes
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategies and drive results
- Become an expert in Wander’s product and industry so that you can coach your team to build high-trust relationships with clients
- Continuously learn and grow by reading, listening to podcasts, and collaborating with teammates

Our take
While AirBnB disrupted the hotel and hospitality industries, the novelty has worn off. Surprise fees, sub-par cleaning, uncomfortable beds and unreliable photos are just some of the factors which have taken the shine off the sharing economy model. Built as a response to these issues, Wander aims to return the luxury to the vacation and short stay sector.
Wander provides a tech-first approach to letting short stays that might be familiar to anyone using AirBnB or another competitor, but the comparisons stop there. Wander directly owns and controls the properties on its portfolio, allowing it to ensure a high standard of quality and excellent customer service for its guests.
After raising an impressive amount of capital, Wander has secured a significant credit facility from Credit Suisse. It will use this to increase its property portfolio across the United States with an aim to put a property within 3 hours drive of 80% of the population. It is also rolling out a facility to allow guests to purchase part ownership of the homes they stay in, allowing them to diversify their own financial portfolios. With this approach, Wander is in a strong position to capture a large segment of the luxury market.
