Who you are
- Understanding of the ecosystem of payment processing, authorization and acquiring services, with specific experience with an acquirer or payment service provider preferred
- Technical knowledge and skill to speak on the technical aspects of authorization performance, payment processing and acquiring
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with business stakeholders, engineering and analytics teams at all levels
- Passion for all things digital and intrinsic curiosity to understand new technology
- Entrepreneurial spirit and global mindset with a passion for learning and using data to solve large scale business problems
- Foundational background in product development and management
- The ability to craft clear and detailed deliverables and expertly communicate across audiences
- Should have knowledge and expertise in using product management tools such as Rally, Jira, Aha
- Excellent project management and execution skills, with experience demonstrated in web/software/product development preferred
What the job involves
- In this role, you’ll be responsible for the product development and strategy of developing brand new solutions that help our merchant, acquiring, and payment service provider partners increase their authorization and conversion rates
- You will work cross functionally with engineers, data analysts, regional product managers, and account teams to understand customer needs and build a product that drives material value for our customers
- Unleash your analytical and creative problem-solving skills to define the future of how we serve our customers
- Lead the end-to-end Product Development lifecycle for our new authorization improvement products, including gathering insights, outlining strategy, developing KPIs, creating a go-to-market strategy, defining the customer experience/journey, and working in partnership with the Delivery and Technology teams to deliver roadmap capabilities
- Continually monitor the market landscape to get a view of competitive solutions and opportunities, as well as provide thought-leadership and market insights to support customers and guide product development decisions
- Engage in idea generation, concept validation, business case development, and financial modeling and planning
- Translate product strategy into a roadmap containing well-defined and prioritized user stories, and features and enablers that will realize the product vision to assist the client in achieving a long-term competitive advantage
- Leverage data, analytics and market insights to come up with recommendations that will drive penetration, adoption, business decisions and development of new and existing strategic solutions, all in the effort to improve authorization performance
- Design and enable solutions or digital transformation initiatives that enhance business value delivery and responsiveness by applying project management skills – Lean/Agile practices and frameworks or their equivalents
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence various teams at the global and local level; key stakeholders include Engineering, Finance, Market Development, Account Management, Customer Experience, Marketing, and other product teams
- Develop regional go-to-market strategies and lead execution to ensure maximum penetration of product and value delivered to customers. This includes aligning with regional teams and supporting customer facing teams with go-to-market plans, pricing, and training. You will oversee pilots to propose and deliver new features/enhancements
