Who you are
- A great communicator
- 3+ years’ experience in Full-Stack Ruby on Rails development
- Highly skilled in the following technologies and languages: Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Github actions, Postgres
- Experience working with complex user interfaces and API design
- Experience with some of the following: Clickhouse, Render.com, GraphQL
- Seeking a work environment which values speed of iteration and individual autonomy

What the job involves
- We're looking for a Ruby On Rails Developer for our new flagship product Bronto
- This product is a key initiative and you will work directly with the team's Product owner to execute on the technical strategy and build a product that will be adopted by a significant user base
- You will work in partnership with an amazing team of talented and passionate product managers, designers, and engineers to build and manage scalable, user-facing solutions. This includes but is not limited to development of private and public APIs and services, and building data integrations
- You'll have the opportunity to find creative solutions to important problems and create and drive new initiatives, seeing them from inception through technical design, implementation, and release. We have big plans and a big vision, and need passionate leaders that love to build and innovate to help us bring this new product to the world
Application process
- First Interview: Hiring Manager initial screening call to assess broad role/team fit evaluation
- Second Interview: Technical Interview with a member of your future engineering team to gauge technical and role specific competencies
- Coding challenge: 1-2 hour take home assignment shared through a Github repository that gives you a starting codebase and asks you to solve for a few challenges relevant to our product
- Final Interview: Cultural and Strategic Discussion with one representative from the Leadership Team and one representative from the People Ops Team to evaluate vision and cultural alignment

Commsor gives its customers a community operating system that ties together their community data, providing insight into its members and what channels they use to engage with the company. This also demonstrates which parts of its community could eventually lead to revenue.
Focusing on enterprise and B2B, Commsor is aware that the community industry still remains an afterthought for many companies, although more startups are creating community budgets and positions for community managers.
Commsor does a lot to push the importance of community, partnering with companies on a Community-Led Declaration, launching its C School program to help community managers learn the trade, and growing its Community Club.
Commsor have raised considerable funding and they are planning to use funds to expand the team and further develop the tools and programs they offer. The company have strategically acquired Meetsy, Caravel, and Port, helping boost the solutions Commsor can provide to companies.
