Who you are
- Full-stack web development with Python/Django/React and/or Typescript/Node/Next.js experience
- Front-end focused web development with significant experience with animation and mobile web optimization, and experience with React and/or Next.js
- We do not require a specific university degree or years of experience, instead we’re excited to see what you’ve been building

What the job involves
- As an expert in full-stack web development, you have an outstanding track record of building software ranging from fast prototypes to high-quality cross-platform products, with a high degree of autonomy
- You don’t shy away from ambiguity, but instead have the ability to build products and features based on a high-level description of problems while collaborating with a range of stakeholders
- You are excited about AI and want to help build innovative products that allow people to interact with the latest-generation AI
Application process
- Interviews at Inflection proceed in two stages. When possible, we strive to do interviews in person
- First, you will have an initial conversation with the Hiring Contact or a Recruiter
- Following that, you will do up to 5 interviews with the team. Technical roles will do at least 2 deep technical screens, which comprise programming exercises, AI exercises, and general technical interviews. We might also invite you to do a take-home exercise or give a presentation. For a non-technical role, please prepare for a role-specific interview such as a portfolio review
- We strive to get back to you within one week from your final interview

Inflection AI is a young AI research company exploring the ways that humans and machines interact. Founded by DeepMind and LinkedIn co-founders, Inflection aims to eliminate the need for humans to simplify their instructions to machines, focussing on the complex and evolving LLM (Large Language Model) of AI development.
With substantial venture capital awarded in 2022 despite a noticeable drop in AI funding across the board, Inflection AI’s huge boost may come as a surprise to some. With the level of experience from both its founders and its Google and Meta-poached team, Inflection AI is embarking upon an area of research that is simultaneously lucrative and costly. LLM research uses a lot of power, but can be applied to many sectors, which is why Greylock Capital has been such a vital partner.
With calls from leading voices on the subject pleading for AI research to be stalled on account of the threats it poses, there may be more governmental red tape enforced around AI development over the next few years. As Inflection AI is at the forefront of LLM development, this would cost the well-funded company greatly.
