VP of Finance, Nightfall AI

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in SaaS startups, with experience scaling from early to growth stage (Series A/B/C+)
• Experience as a key finance leader or VP/CFO in a fast-paced, venture-backed environment
• Deep understanding of SaaS and subscription business models, key SaaS metrics, and AI native company dynamics
• Demonstrated success leading fundraising, investor relations, and financial due diligence
• Strong analytical, modeling, and FP&A skills with expertise in financial systems/tools
• Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing finance teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to partner cross-functionally and at the executive/board level
• Ability to thrive in high-growth, dynamic environments with ambiguity

• We are seeking an exceptional VP of Finance to join our executive team. As the leader of Nightfall’s finance function, you will drive strategic financial planning, support our growth trajectory, and build the infrastructure to enable scalability
• You will play a critical role in partnering with internal and external stakeholders, developing financial rigor across the company and investor relations
• Lead all financial functions including FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance
• Own long-term financial planning and modeling to inform strategy and resource allocation
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, supporting company-wide decision making
• Work directly with the CEO to lead fundraising and support board relations (investor updates, reporting, modeling)
• Develop and implement financial controls, processes, and tools fit for a high-growth, AI-native SaaS company
• Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Optimize capital allocation, cash flow, and runway management
• Manage and grow the finance team, driving a culture of accountability and trust
• Partner with GTM, Product, and R&D leaders to define and track key SaaS and AI native metrics (ARR, CAC, burn, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and audit requirements
