Who you are
- Experience writing digital content across websites, email, and editorial
- A keen sense of what makes content engaging
- Familiarity with using CMS platforms or willingness to learn
- SEO experience, with the ability to write content that works for people and search engines
- Comfortable working on multiple content projects and delivering to deadlines
- A collaborative, proactive mindset with a focus on improving how we do things
- Basic understanding of content performance metrics

- Basic understanding of compliance in financial content
- Insurance related content editing experience
What the job involves
- We're looking for a Content Editor to join us at Confused.com, you’ll be the go-to person for brand tone of voice, acting as a guardian for all insurances content written
- That includes working with teams across the business to ensure that content we produce is human, helpful, and on brand
- Supporting RVU brands (Confused.com, Uswitch, money.co.uk) in creating high-quality annual insurance content
- Working closely with SEO to create content that applies EEAT principles and is discoverable
- Managing, editing, and building pages within our CMS to ensure content is up-to-date and easy to navigate
- Developing engaging email content
- Collaborating with the PR team to increase visibility and drive engagement
- Collaborating with product and design to craft UX friendly copy
- Testing and exploring new content formats including video, tools and rich media

With the 2022 acquisition of Tempcover adding to the portfolio of brands, RVU is doubling down on the breadth of its product offering - expanding into the temporary insurance market. Tempcover is an insure-tech that brings flexible and affordable insurance solutions to motorists - whether hourly cover or month-long policies.
