Role
Who you are
- Experience with Vue.js (2.0+) framework
- Knowledge of unit, functional and end-to-end testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, etc.) as well as writing testable SOLID code
- Knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3 (with BEM or similar methodology)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and ideally GraphQL
- Experience working in a cross-functional team including Front and Back-end Developers, QA Analysts and Product Owners/Business Analysts
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
- Experience working using an Agile approach
Desirable
- Experience with ThreeJS or other 3D Graphics, CAD, etc
- Creating Node.js packages, using private npm repositories and Storybook
- C# knowledge or ASP.NET experience
- Experience building APIs in a microservices architecture
- Experience with Azure (or AWS) environment & services
What the job involves
- We are searching for a Front-end Developer with significant experience both building single-page & progressive web apps and with modern web development in general
- As part of this role, you'll help build our own SaaS product, as well as the opportunity to contribute to various customer products we're working on
- Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of KOPE SaaS product and client projects
- Build applications & UI/UX according to specifications and designs
- Write code using core engineering principles & industry best practices to ensure quality, usability and performance
- Define and build test suites, perform analysis to identify opportunities for improvement & automation and build them
- Closely collaborate with our team of developers and Product manager to build the best product possible
Our take
The process of BIM (Building Information Modelling) has historically taken form through pen and paper, but today’s digital technology shows room for powerful workflow innovation. Whilst many architectural designers have already migrated to digital design platforms, this typically concerns CAD as opposed to driving innovation in the sustainability, safety, functionality, and profitability of structures.
Kope (originally Matterlab) develops custom digital transformation tools for BIM workflows, combining expertise in architecture, engineering, and construction with advanced computational processes to empower generative building design, optimised design coordination, and BIM strategy and documentation.
Whilst digital BIM tools are nothing new, Kope has taken a unique position in the sector by focusing on a wider scope of data applications in the BIM process. The company also stands out by recognising that the idiosyncrasies of BIM projects require bespoke solutions, developing each tool whilst consulting the client to ensure projects are optimised in terms of cost, efficiency, sustainability, and safety.
