Who you are

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics with 5 years of industry experience
Experience designing and debugging electromechanical systems
Proficiency in designing parts and assemblies using 3D modeling software. FEA experience an asset. (Catia or SOLIDWORKS preferred)
Experience drafting engineering drawings, conducting tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T a bonus
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Experience with embedded and edge devices, programming, industrial engineering, electrical system selection and design a plus
Hands on experience with 3D printing, prototype manufacturing and assembly

We’re looking for creative thinkers to help solve for extremely ambitious goals
You’ll get an opportunity to work on electro-mechanical systems in close collaboration with the electrical and software teams
Our team is focused on fast iteration and learning, so you’ll have the opportunity to have your designs built quickly, test them, and take those test results to design improvements
Create novel electro-mechanical mechanisms and systems for a mobile robotics platform and validate them using rapid prototyping fabrication methods
Build, debug and support prototype robots
Develop designs for volume production methods, knowledge of casting, injection molding, stamping and other volume production processes
Perform failure modes analysis
Create work instructions for fabricating robotic systems
Develop concepts for systems to meet design requirements
Support robot deployments at customer sites as required
Redesign robotic systems for volume manufacturing, focusing on reliability and cost optimization

Our take

Since the pandemic disrupted global supply chains, labor shortages and inefficiencies in warehouse operations have become a major issue. Many warehouses are still largely manual, with only a small percentage using advanced automation, leaving space for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

To tackle this, Mytra AI is developing an advanced automation system for warehouses. Founded by former Tesla engineers, the company is creating modular and reconfigurable robotic solutions that can handle heavy payloads and adapt to various warehouse tasks. With the aim of enhancing the flexibility and capability of automated systems, making warehouses better suited to current industry needs.
