Senior Developer, Countfire

• A great understanding of React
• 4+ years software development experience, with a strong appreciation of full stack development
• Experience working within smaller independent companies
• Command line / Linux experience

Desirable

• You'll be deeply involved in the entire software development process, from deciding what we’re going to work on next through to implementation and release. Our tech team work closely together, so we’re always learning from each other while creating a codebase we’re really proud of
• You'll be curious about how things work, and when they don't work as expected, you'll be quick to peek under the hood to better understand what's going on
• Use Python (numpy), Postgres and React to solve interesting backend scaling challenges, due to the large amount of data we need on every request
• Involved in Product feature development and working with customers to understand new product requirements

• 15-20 minute video call with Sophie, our Head of Talent to introduce you to Countfire, and find out a bit more about you and your technical skillset
• 1 hour with Aidan (Co-Founder and CTO), which involves a technical interview. You should leave this call understanding exactly what we're up to at the moment, and how you might fit into our team!
• 1 hour with Will (Co-Founder and CEO) and Rachel (Head of Ops) who will answer any further questions you may have about us, our future or the role
