• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with a focus on international tax
• Chartered Accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA) or Certified Tax Advisor (CTA) certification
• A strong knowledge of global transactional taxes such as SDRT, FFFT and US WHT, as well as international tax regulations, including on transfer pricing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with external tax advisors and local tax authorities, as well as internal stakeholders
• Ability to provide advice to the business on possible expansion into new territories and/or potential corporate transactions and managing tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have a relentless drive for excellence and attention to detail

Desirable

• Develop and implement a global tax strategy that aligns with our company’s business objectives, minimising tax liabilities and risks and optimising tax structure
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations across all jurisdictions in which we operate and recommend changes to our tax strategy and compliance
• Prepare and file tax returns, including corporation tax, VAT, and other tax filings, for all jurisdictions in which we operate
• Ensure that there are appropriate systems and controls in place to calculate, collect, and report on all transactional tax matters with a view to automate
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and local tax authorities
• Provide tax support and advice to other departments within the company, including finance, legal, and business development on matters such as new products and new jurisdictions
• Conduct tax due diligence for potential acquisitions or partnerships
• Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation
• Assist with tax audits and disputes
