What the job involves

Shape the product direction, roadmap, and positioning based on company objectives, market opportunities, customer feedback, and analysis of data, in alignment with the company strategy and in collaboration with the leadership team (and have an understanding of the ML lifecycle and ops space)
Communicate widely to the whole company why we are prioritizing certain product features and updating against impact metrics and which features have been most successful
Maintain an awareness of our customers as well as the broader competitive landscape
Anticipate and remove obstacles that slow down or prevent product delivery
Collaborate with marketing, business development, and finance to deliver business milestones to market through impactful product releases

Our take

AI presents algorithmic solutions for improving the efficiency of just about every tech company's operations, but the potential for machine learning security breaches prevents approximately 85% of AI projects from being deployed. This is particularly significant when it comes to military uses of AI, yet machine learning lacks a universal framework for testing, reporting, and auditing.

Calypso AI develops software tools and features that facilitate the testing, risk management, auditing, and ultimately validation of machine learning algorithms for AI creators and consumers. The aim of the company is to ultimately increase the speed at which AI projects can be moved from experiments to deployment through no-code dashboards, human-in-the-loop interventions, and real-world testing features within the CalypsoAI toolkit.

Many SaaS startups are applying AI to increase the efficiencies of innovative technologies such as cloud computing and IoT, but unlike Calypso AI, few have tackled the root problem of the cybersecurity of AI algorithms. Off the back of 2025 funding, the company is planning to accelerate its scale-up and expand its reach.
