Who you are
- A Builder at Heart: You have experience scaling sales functions from the "Zero-to-One" phase. You enjoy the creative challenge of setting up CRMs (HubSpot/Salesforce) and workflows as much as you enjoy the art of negotiation
- Consultative Sales DNA: You understand the nuance of selling high-trust professional services (e.g., Audits, Managed Services) versus pure-play SaaS software. You know how to scope a solution, not just sell a license
- Native to the Ecosystem: You are comfortable meeting our clients where they live. You possess digital fluency across the Web3 stack (Telegram, Signal, Discord) and understand that speed and accessibility are key to building trust in this industry
- Resilient & Adaptable: You flourish in dynamic, fast-paced environments. You view setbacks as learning opportunities and are comfortable navigating ambiguity with a positive, solution-oriented outlook
- Player-Coach Grit: You believe in leading by example. You are ready to "roll up your sleeves" and work alongside the team, rather than managing from a distance
- Global Collaboration: Ability to maintain a schedule that allows for meaningful synchronous collaboration (4+ hours overlap) with our Leadership team in US/EU time zones
- Tech Stack Proficiency: Proficiency in modern sales operations tools (CRM automation, Data reporting) and collaborative communication tools (Slack, G-Suite)
What the job involves
- We are seeking a Founding Head of Sales who embodies a true "Player-Coach" mindset. This is a rare opportunity for a high-agency leader to be the architect of their own success. You won’t just inherit a sales machine; you will build it
- In this role, you will have the autonomy to drive immediate impact by managing key strategic accounts directly ("The Player"), while simultaneously building the inclusive, data-driven infrastructure that will support our future sales team ("The Coach")
- Direct Revenue Impact: You will personally lead our most critical engagements, building trust with founders and CTOs to secure high-value partnerships. You thrive on the energy of connecting with customers and closing complex agreements
- Strategic Architecture: You will design the "Immunefi Sales Engine" from the ground up. This includes creating equitable hiring rubrics, transparent pricing models, and inclusive sales playbooks that enable future team members to succeed
- Market Intelligence: You will act as the bridge between the market and our Product team. You will translate client feedback into actionable insights, helping us refine our offerings
- Culture Building: You will be the voice of Revenue within the leadership team, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning
Our take
As Web3 expands, crypto projects face the ongoing risk of scammers and hackers. Immunefi is tackling this challenge and leading the way in security within DeFi and Web3. Facilitating network hosting, bug triaging, and program management in the Blockchain, Immunefi also offers smart contract projects to its customers, reviewing code, disclosing possible vulnerabilities, and securing these projects from exploits.
Since launching in 2020, customers of Immunefi include smart contract projects like Synthetix, TheGraph, Polygon, and SushiSwap. The company is now focusing on onboarding many more in the near future.
With bug bounties being a critical component of the company's long-term survival within the industry, Immunefi has partnered with the likes of ICON Foundation and Binance Smart Chain, securing more projects and cementing its standing within the rapidly growing Web3 world. September 2022 saw $24 million Series A awarded to Immunefi, leading to more incentives for whitehat hackers to engage with its bug bounty challenges.
