Role
Who you are
- 3–5 years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, or B2B Financial Services, with direct ownership of a portfolio or book of business
- Proven ability to grow revenue, retain accounts, and influence outcomes across teams while managing client relationships commercially
- Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with portfolio metrics like funding volume, utilization rates, revenue trends, and risk indicators
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to drive outcomes across teams without direct authority (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn the mechanics of invoice funding, credit, and working capital
- Bonus: Experience in fintech, invoice factoring, working capital, or other commercial lending environments
- You love building strong client relationships and driving results
- Excited by the challenge of managing a portfolio that funds $100K+ per month

What the job involves
- At FundThrough, our Account Managers are strategic partners, not just client contacts
- You'll own the performance, retention, and growth of your portfolio, acting with urgency and thinking like a business operator
- Own portfolio performance, driving growth, client engagement, and addressing at-risk accounts
- Build strong client relationships, conduct reviews, and proactively address churn risks
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and drive outcomes effectively
- Monitor risk signals and act early to mitigate potential challenges
- Ensure smooth operations, maintain accurate records, and provide client feedback to improve processes
Our take
Scaling a small business is full of challenges, especially when there is limited free cash flow due to long waits for customer invoices. Whilst invoice funding companies exist to solve this challenge, their loans still take a while to process, often have hidden fees, and come with high-interest rates.
FundThrough provides an invoice funding service for small businesses, promising to reduce the amount of time businesses wait to receive paid invoices from customers. The company provides its services on a personalised approach based on the financial health of a business, allowing the business to choose which invoices will be funded, ultimately allowing them to scale their operations by taking on larger clients with their augmented cash flow.
Whilst invoice funding has been used by businesses for decades, it is generally only available for larger enterprises, so FundThrough’s focus on helping small businesses is unique. And with good funding that has supported the expansion of its funding resources to serve more and more small businesses, the future is promising for FundThrough and the customers it serves.
