Senior Software Engineering Manager, GoDaddy

• 5+ years of people management experience, including managing teams of 5+ engineers
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript backend development
• Proven track record designing and building data platform architectures including data warehousing, pipelines, and APIs
• Deep experience with AWS infrastructure and services
• Hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL, search technologies (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch), and OLAP databases
• Ability to balance technical leadership with people management and stakeholder collaboration

• Lead the architecture and development of our next-generation Commerce reporting platform, including data warehousing infrastructure, services layer, and API design
• Manage and grow a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative, engineering-driven culture focused on building reliable, scalable data systems
• Drive technical decisions across the full stack—from data pipelines and warehousing to APIs and the experiences built on top
• Partner closely with Commerce Home product team, Mobile and Terminal experience teams, and Platform/Infrastructure teams to expand data access across surfaces
• Manage delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams while maintaining high engineering standards
• Develop team capabilities through mentorship, hiring, and process improvements
