Role
Who you are
- Fluent in both French and English
- An experienced Account Executive with exposure to the full sales cycle
- Able to build genuine trust with stakeholders at all levels, including within senior leadership teams and wider business stakeholders
- Happy to challenge and coach the customer. Advise on how to buy, how to implement and able to identify the potential roadblocks early on
- Excellent discipline, fast to follow-up, always keep to deadlines
- Knowledge of SaaS software, awareness of typical customer lifecycle within the sector
- Knowledge of marketing principles, channels, metrics and automation

What the job involves
- As a key sales resource in the UK, you will play a significant role as we scale into the French market
- Working closely with an SDR, who will help to ensure that you have a steady flow of inbound activity
- You’ll be joining a fast-growing international Sales team, focusing on inbound leads to acquire new business
- We’re mature enough that our sales motion is proven and repeatable, but we’re also early enough in our journey that we’re still having fun discovering new and better ways to introduce Blink to potential customers. Responsibilities include:
- Working with prospective customers, understanding their needs, build a relationship and map our solution to their problems
- Build exceptional rapport and qualify customer pain points with precision & depth
- Pitching to both perceived & unperceived needs, objection handling & closing with clarity
- Build trust & credibility by networking at conferences & awards
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure we’re running effective campaigns, to fine tune our existing efforts
- Working closely with the Head of Sales to define the best strategy for growing Inbound and our approach

Apps catering to frontline workers are seeing a surge of interest in the market these days, as businesses finally start to wake up to using tech to better connect with these employees, and investors eye up an interesting and new growth opportunity in enterprise IT.
Blink’s particular approach has been to try to create a user interface, and functionality, that caters both to asynchronous activities as well as real-time information, the idea being that front-line workers are most likely not going to be looking at the app continuously throughout the day, so the priority for making sure important things surface when they do is especially higher.
Blink was founded in London — where it has found strong traction with metropolitan bus networks and the NHS (where thousands of frontline workers in clinical and nonclinical roles are on Blink).
Now Blink is HQ’d in New York in an attempt to focus on the U.S. market. There are an estimated 2.7 billion people working on the front line according to the company, so there’s a fair amount of room for growth despite an increasingly competitive landscape with well-funded projects like Justworks, Workplace from Meta and When I Work.
