Role
Who you are
- This role requires a seasoned professional who combines technical knowledge with strategic vision and business acumen
- Deep understanding of flash memory technologies, compute and storage hardware and software, networking, and data center architectures and standards
- Strong systems-thinking acumen and proven ability to quickly drive successful root cause analysis of technical issues across hardware and software domains
- Experience with distributed storage platforms, such as Ceph, AWS S3, Azure Blob etc is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture, product management, engineering, or technical pre-sales, specifically within the field of data storage or related technologies
- Working with engineers, architects and leadership at large customers
- Experience with hyperscale compute and storage architectures is desirable
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
- Effective presentation skills for internal and external executive audiences
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing technical requirements

What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead technical and outbound product management
- You will be building innovative solutions using flash storage technologies and software
- Engage directly with customer stakeholders to gather insights, understand their needs, and drive outcomes
- Coordinate customer qualification and escalation activities to ensure high satisfaction and alignment with product offerings
- Define hardware and software requirements that build our product prioritization and roadmap; including drive design, firmware, telemetry and support
- Develop high-quality content, patterns and practices targeting customer and internal stakeholders
- Act as a technical expert and advocate for our product lines at industry conferences, seminars, webinars, and other public forums
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value and technical advantages of our products to internal and external audiences
- Characterize performance and architecture across hyperscale software and hardware platforms to ensure that our products can meet customer requirements
- Work with business development partners to evaluate and improve product functionality, ensuring our solutions meet or exceed market expectations
- Leverage strong problem-solving skills to make informed decisions despite incomplete information
- Maintain a clear vision and strategic direction while navigating uncertain conditions and executing on tactical needs
- Mentor junior team members and help build a culture of technical excellence
