While Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Salesforce and Salesloft have undoubtedly helped shorten the sales cycle, particularly by helping generate high value leads, the onus is still on sales teams to manually reach out to potential customers.
This part of the sales process has long been taken at face value, despite how much time sales agents lose by calling bad numbers, reaching voicemail, and navigating existing account data.
Orum is aiming to change this with an AI powered platform that filters out poor numbers and automates voicemails while calling multiple numbers simultaneously, all in a bid to get sales reps on live calls as quickly and often as possible. That Orum plugs into the major CRMs like Salesforce, rather than competing with them, should help its cause.
Orum’s trajectory has been very positive thus far, frequently expanding its headcount, achieving impressive Series B funding and winning a number of high-profile customers such as Salesforce partner Simplus and data protection company Clumio.

Management is super flexible when it comes to taking time off or recharging. Everyone is so supportive of each other which makes it easy to do so. We get the first Friday of every month off which is such a perk and we have a lot of other holidays throughout the year to give us time to spend doing things we love outside of work and spending time with friends and family. Everyone is understanding and realizes sometimes we just need to recharge our batteries.

Management at Orum is top notch. We are given detailed onboarding and they are there for questions and help whenever needed/wanted. If I need extra help on something, I can always count on one of my managers to help out and assist. They are supportive of taking time off if needed but also expect you to get your work done and done well. There can be a lot of expectations in a start up but it is rewarding none the less when you're contributing to the company goals. We've all been there with a micromanager. No leader at Orum has ever given me micromanager feelings. Everyone helps and supports everyone and will get you to where you need to be.

One of Orum's core values is "No Jerks." This is the first company I can say that truly follows that standard. My role requires me to work with a lot of different teams, and every interaction I have with others is pleasant, respectful, and encourages me to get better in my own role. I have made many very close friends through Orum and it always feels connected despite being fully remote.

I think daily how lucky I am to have the manger I do at Orum. He is there to listen, takes my insight and feedback seriously, and is always quick to jump in and help investigate or tackle a problem. He does right by every member of our team and is the first one to recognize, and celebrate, our successes. He pushes me to improve but gives me space to grow on my own. At previous companies, I have dreaded one on ones- I actually look forward to them now.

It is easy to see, within our professional and "fun" communication channels- everyone is accepted with open arms. When people do share (voluntarily) about their family or backgrounds, they are always met with a welcoming attitude.
