Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in QA, device operations, launch management, or a related field with meaningful exposure to hardware, embedded systems, or IoT product environments
- Experience managing multiple concurrent pilots, launches, or deployment workstreams in fast-paced environments
- Hands-on experience monitoring and troubleshooting connected devices, embedded systems, or fleet-scale hardware in production
- Strong proficiency in building or improving operational processes, dashboards, alerting systems, and automated monitoring workflows
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and automation-first QA methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, actionable stakeholder communications
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working across engineering, firmware, product, and operations teams
What the job involves
- As a Senior QA Engineer at Hayden AI, you will own the end-to-end success of multiple concurrent pilots and production launches, including large-scale device fleet deployments in real-world transportation environments
- You will be the driving force behind launch readiness, device stability, and operational excellence - ensuring every pilot meets its goals and every deployment transitions smoothly from validation to full fleet rollout
- You will define pilot criteria, monitor device health daily, coordinate cross-functional execution, and drive the evolution from manual processes to scalable, automation-first operations
- Working closely with Engineering, Firmware, Product, Operations, and QA teams, you will embed quality and accountability into every phase of the deployment lifecycle
- Own end-to-end pilot and launch execution across multiple concurrent deployments, including goal definition, readiness validation, go/no-go decisions, and the transition from pilot to full fleet production rollout
- Monitor device health and performance on a daily basis across all active pilots and production fleets, proactively identifying anomalies, failures, and performance degradation before they become critical blockers
- Provide clear, consistent visibility into device status and deployment health to stakeholders through dashboards, reports, and structured communications
- Track, report, and escalate issues promptly to the appropriate engineering, firmware, and operations teams, minimizing impact on launch timelines and ensuring rapid resolution of critical blockers
- Coordinate closely with engineering, QA, operations, firmware, and product teams to resolve issues, align on priorities, and maintain launch readiness across all active deployments
- Define and enforce launch readiness criteria, quality gates, and pilot success metrics to ensure reliable, repeatable deployment outcomes
- Drive the transition from manual, reactive monitoring and reporting processes to an automation-first approach, implementing standardized workflows, automated alerting, and scalable reporting systems
- Validate device stability, environmental reliability, and system performance before, during, and after deployments to support confident field operations
- Perform root cause analysis on deployment and device issues, driving preventative actions and long-term improvements to launch quality and operational resilience

Already in use in cities like New York, LA, and now Barcelona and Braga, it's a neat idea and one that's keeping buses moving and riders safe.
Its work is more than just ticketing, it's about making cities smarter, greener, and safer for everyone and its been making big moves. It just wrapped up its pilot in Portugal that revealed nearly 8,000 violations in just three months, and launched the largest automated enforcement project in Europe in Barcelona. With over $193M raised, the company is certainly growing fast and turning head in the govtech space.
