Role
Who you are
- To have at least 2 years experience working in a digital product environment
- To have worked in multi-disciplinary teams including PM, engineers, QA and insights
- To have worked with business stakeholders and involved them within your product design process
- To have a high standard of design practice that is demonstrated well through previous examples of work
- Experienced in all aspects of the product design life-cycle, including; research, exploration with your team, user testing, being ready for development, measuring performance of releases with your team
- To have experience with qualitative research methods such as user interviews and usability testing
- To have experience with Design Systems
- Experienced using design and research tools such as; Figma, Usertesting.com and Miro
What the job involves
- As a Product Designer, you will be focused on finding new ways to help our learners to learn and connect people across the world through a community, 1:1 and group lessons
- You will have autonomy, leading design within your squad, working and collaborating closely with a team of incredible engineers and PMs
- You will work with and have the support of a team of Language experts, Product designers, Analysts and many more, to create the most meaningful, purposeful solutions possible
- You will identify new learner problems through qualitative and quantitative research, as well as learn from and iterate on previous solutions to continually evolve the product
- You will use a range of methodologies to create high quality solutions across web and iOS and Android apps
- We believe in giving everyone the opportunity to learn and improve. You will grow both professionally and personally with the support of the business
