Role
Who you are
- You have at least one year of experience in a quota-carrying or outbound-facing role — whether that's SDR, BDR, inside sales, or a competitive environment where you had to generate and close your own opportunities
- B2B SaaS experience is a bonus, but what matters more is that you've consistently hit or exceeded your targets and you're hungry for more responsibility, not more of the same
- Doesn't need to be managed into action — you show up, you dial, you follow up
- Handles rejection as feedback, not a reason to slow down
- Communicates clearly and confidently with strangers, whether over email, phone, or LinkedIn
- Has a track record of outperforming your peers — not just showing up
- Sees this role as step one of your sales career, not the whole thing
What the job involves
- We're building a sales team and we need someone hungry. This SDR role comes with a defined 6 to 12 month path to Account Executive — and we mean it. If you hit your targets, show up with the right attitude, and grow fast, you'll be running your own book of business with us as early as January
- Prospect outbound across email, LinkedIn, and calls to generate pipeline and book qualified meetings for our Account Executives
- Run sharp discovery conversations that surface genuine pain and create momentum
- Clearly communicate the value of Optix and how it maps to what operators actually need
- Keep your sequences, follow-ups, and CRM (HubSpot) current and clean
- Partner with AEs to refine messaging, sharpen handoffs, and close the loop on what's working
- Bring front-line market intelligence back to Sales and Marketing

As a spin-off of the successful coworking space company ShareDesk, Optix has had an advantage over its competitors since the beginning. The company has attracted businesses like 1880, The Cloud Room, and Thrive, and has impressively increased its revenue year on year.
The increase in remote and flexible workers has paid off for Optix too, and the company is well-positioned to scale dramatically over the coming years. It will need to innovate its app and attract more coworking brands if it is to consolidate its progress.
