Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, experience across Youtube, X and Instagram
  • Proven track record of growing engaged social media communities
  • Strong understanding of video content creation, editing techniques, and current trends
  • Hands-on experience with video editing software, including AI-powered tools
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools
  • A data-driven approach to strategy and content creation
  • Familiarity with the AI industry and user-generated content campaigns in the video space - an advantage
  • Artistic sensibility with an eye for visually compelling content and a passion for video storytelling and emerging AI technologies

What the job involves

  • LTX Studio, Lightricks' innovative AI-powered video creation tool, is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Manager to strengthen our brand presence and engage with our community of video creators, marketers, and digital storytellers
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
  • Act as a curator for all things LTX Studio, sourcing innovative projects from our community and beyond, showcasing the creative potential of our tools
  • This role requires an artistic eye and a knack for identifying standout content that resonates with our audience
  • Serve as a brand representative of LTX Studio, engaging actively with our audience through comments and DMs
  • Proactively reach out to creators for partnership opportunities and create a robust partnership funnel designed to expand our reach and demonstrate the advanced capabilities of LTX Studio
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social efforts with product updates, feature launches, and broader campaigns (such as video challenges, contests, and user-generated content campaigns)
  • Stay ahead of social media and video content trends, particularly those in AI-powered video creation
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide regular performance reports, focusing on engagement, user acquisition, and brand awareness

All their apps are free, but offer in-app paid subscription plans that unlock functionality. With 40 million monthly users and over 550 million downloads worldwide, Lightricks gained unicorn status back in July 2019.

Lightricks have recently expanded into creator services through their acquisition of Popular pays (connecting creators with brands). This acquisition is the company's first step towards becoming a single resource for creators and brands alike.

With a growing range of photo and video editing tools such as Facetune, Videoleap and Photoleap which have incorporated facial recognition and generative AI features, the company is well poised to serve the growing demand for intuitive and user-friendly content creation software.
