Who you are

- As an Account Director at Upskill, you will have the ability to drive innovative thinking, spot areas for growth across our client's portfolio and confidently upsell, cross-sell, and drive referrals
What the job involves
- Maintain and build strong working relationships with all key clients in your portfolio, being an established point of contact and escalation
- Have holistic oversight and grow all accounts in your portfolio through renewal and expansion (about 60% of the time)
- Identify and close new businesses to grow your portfolio (about 40% of the time)
- Run quarterly and annual business reviews as necessary for each account as needed
- Deliver exceptional client service at all times, be the first to offer innovative solutions, strategic guidance and effective problem-solving
- Be responsible for forecasting revenue numbers for yourself and your team
- Deliver on revenue targets per client and ensure that you are meeting your other KPIs as established by the business
- Work with programme managers to ensure successful overall project strategy, delivery and impact reporting so that our clients continue to be our drivers for growth as measured in NPS and renewals
- Manage a small team of Account Managers and Account Executives (subject to experience)
- Attend industry events and act as a champion for our clients both internally and externally
- Responsible for onboarding, and training of all your direct reports in line with company policy and procedure
- Managing the performance and development of your direct reports, conducting appraisals, annual performance reviews
- Managing leave and absence on behalf of your direct reports in line with company policy and procedure
- Stay abreast of all company policies and ensure that your direct reports are well-informed and communicate any updates
- Where appropriate, work with the HR team to remain accountable for recruitment needs on behalf of your team, screening candidates, building interview kits and making final hiring decisions
- Drive team engagement and satisfaction by supporting your direct reports in matters of well-being, psychological safety and belonging

- You will then be set up for a second stage interview with our CEO and Commercial Director so you have the chance to ask questions and learn more about your experience and expertise
- We will give you a chance to show off your skills through a test specifically designed for the role
- Finally, you will have a last-stage meet and greet to present your practical application
