Who you are
- 3-5 years of React and Python design and development experience preferably leveraging open source and open standards; experience with API and/or SDK development preferred
- Knowledge of and/or experience with object oriented and functional design patterns
- Experience using Git and Git-based pipelines
- Experience mentoring and developing others
- Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail

- Alteryx is searching for a Software Engineer (Mid-Level). This position is remote-friendly
- We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us build and maintain our Intelligent Services cloud and on-prem product suite
- You will be a strong technical contributor whose passion is around creating amazing, high quality engineering outcomes. You are someone who loves knowing the intimate details of and developing in multiple languages, with a strong penchant for analytics
- Assists Product Management and Engineering team in definition of work (stories, tasks)
- Takes full ownership of work outcomes including design, development, and testing; supports and contributes to DevOps pipeline when/where necessary
- Contributes to quality system (framework), with a strong commitment to leading with quality
- Participates in code reviews for the engineers on your team, ensuring our delivery of clean, well-tested, and performant software
- Helps in the development of a great work environment through being a servant leader within their team
Our take
Alteryx brings a suite of tools to automate data driven processes on a large scale, massively speeding up data based procedures. The system also uses AI to analyse data and provide insights to enable rapid decision making.
What Alteryx does differently from other data science tool developers is focus on the accessibility of its software, taking a low code/no code approach. This allows for greater collaboration between people with differing skill sets, speeding up processes for its users.
The business has made some strategic partnerships over time, most notably with Snowflake and Blue Prism. And with AI becoming more, Alteryx is projected to make major inroads in its market as more companies turn to automated solutions for data analysis.
