Role
Who you are
- You might be a content designer, a copywriter or a journalist. What matters most is that you base content decisions on evidence and can write clearly and simply about complicated subjects. You’ll also need to be happy safeguarding high-quality content through the review process, winning over stakeholders as you do it. We're interested in people who can:
- Unknot tricky problems
- Make complex products and services easy to understand
- Use analytics, user feedback and research to make decisions about content
- Work with legal and compliance folk to understand their perspective
- You don’t have to know lots about financial services, but you do have to be willing to develop an interest in our clients and their world
What the job involves
- Identify the needs of clients and end users
- Map user journeys
- Create and improve content using research, analytics and other information
- Review your colleagues’ content and help them improve it
- Run writing and strategy workshops for clients
- We work with a broad range of clients. This means there is a mix of digital and print projects. On any day, you could be working on content such as websites, online tools, videos and newsletters
Application process
- We’d like to see three things: your CV, a professional writing sample, a cover letter explaining why you think we’d be a good fit for each other. The closing date is 7 August 2024.
- First step: interview (in-person).
- Second step: online pretend project (90 minutes). We'll send the material ahead of time and you'll have a week to get ready. We'll compensate you for your time.
- We hope to make a decision at the end of September.
