Who you are

Experience with functional, exploratory, cross browser and user acceptance testing
Experience with writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience in writing scenarios in BDD in Gherkin syntax

Desirable

Exposure to automation tools such as Cypress and Cucumber
Basic coding/scripting experience is advantageous, specifically JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Experience of API and Web Services utilizing REST
Experience testing microservices
Experience in using Xray / JIRA
Good working knowledge of CI/CD best practices for automating testing
ISTQB certified tester foundation/advanced
Demonstrate empathy, common sense and pragmatism. Be able to relate and influence both business and technology people but above all be innovative

What the job involves

Champion QA throughout Tes! You will drive our quality agenda across our products through technology, process, education & knowledge sharing and innovation!
Represent QA during our daily Scrum stand-ups, planning sessions, product review and retrospective meetings. You will actively engage in discussions around the acceptance criteria and test scenarios for product features
Ensure that the tickets being worked on during the sprints are adhering to the quality guidelines defined by QA Engineering
Ensure that high quality standards are achieved at all times for all our software releases and a high level of automated coverage
Be accountable for recording software defects and providing technical descriptions and evidence, whilst also providing feedback and regular updates to the team to ensure that our products are developed to the highest standard
Identify and define opportunities for improvement, measurements for those improvements and the implementation and roll out process to ensure that overall quality standards and customer expectations are met or exceeded
Ensure solutions are robust and fully tested before they’re shipped
Build and maintain QA reporting capabilities
Provide support, mentorship, and guidance to other team members
Contribute and share knowledge with their own team and Tes Engineering via knowledge sharing meetings
