Role
Who you are
- 3+ years enterprise sales experience, selling a technical product, with a proven track record of high performance
- Experience in payments, fintech, and/or account verification is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation
- Experienced negotiator, balancing selling new and beta products with delivering revenue for the business
- Consultative sales methodology with a product-centric, problem solving mindset
- Detail oriented, especially with regards to understanding and documenting customer requirements and complexities
- Curious about new technologies and quick to learn new concepts
- Have a familiarity with APIs and will be fast to fluency in our product requirements
- Can lead complex conversations in a highly consultative and proactive manner
- Provide and solicit feedback proactively and view different perspectives as an opportunity to learn and improve

What the job involves
- Lead the sales cycle end to end across early stage fintechs and established enterprise companies
- Collaborate and negotiate deals with business partners and technology leaders
- Execute profitable and successful contracts that set up our account management team for success
- Build expertise in the financial infrastructure marketplace, especially with regards to payments, including RTP, FedNow, and ACH, as well as bank account verification
- Work cross functionally with internal teams to solve customer problems and move deals forward
- Establish expert knowledge of Orum products, features, and metrics to lead insightful conversations with prospects and internal teams
- Partner with sales and marketing leadership to further define and refine the go to market strategy and sales process
- Consult with product teams to provide market insights and customer feedback to make our platform better
- Manage the CRM database with customer information, goals, KPIs, and satisfaction quotients, so product and engineering teams can make data-driven decisions
- Achieve and exceed quarterly quota targets to deliver revenue

Traditionally, payments made through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network can take up to five days to process, leaving both consumers and banks frustrated by the delays. One of Orum’s standout services, Foresight, uses AI to predict whether funds are available in an account before transactions are authorized, effectively eliminating the wait time. The second service, Momentum, takes things a step further by selecting the optimal route for each transaction based on cost and speed. Whether it's ACH, credit card networks, real-time payment systems, or eventually blockchain-based networks, Momentum ensures that payments happen as quickly and affordably as possible.
Since its launch in 2019, Orum has made impressive strides, reducing the processing time for 85% of transfers for likes like SoFi and First Horizon to just one day. Backed by funding from heavyweights like Accel and Bain Capital, Orum is poised to continue shaking up the payment industry and redefine how transactions are made.
