Our take
Navigating complex financial systems has caused most people to distrust many financial services. Sky high credit card fees and feeling lost when deciding how to manage and protect savings, amongst many other problems, are particular pain points for the younger generation. Quirk aims to overturn this by facilitating money tracking, budgeting, and more through the use of psychometrics to provide personalised data for each user.
The company believes they approach this from the ground up by talking in depth with people about their relationship with money and testing out different ways to make things better for them. A trial-and-error approach is key when trying to solve practical issues that affect people's everyday lives, since testing and learning from experience is the only way to be sure that mainstream use is not faulty.
Quirk is investing into its product platform as well as expanding through increased hires. This will allow it to continue providing its service and meet its goal, which is to help make people's data work for them so that they can master their finances.
