Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in consulting, data analytics, strategy, or a similar role
- 2+ years in client facing experience
- Demonstrated experience connecting data analysis to business drivers
- Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write new queries and interpret existing queries
- Proficiency in creating impactful presentation materials in PowerPoint or Google Slides to communicate insights clearly to executive and cross-functional audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Experience leveraging large language models for analytics purposes
- Specific experience analyzing customer behavior and unstructured, conversational data
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Strategy to join our growing Analyst & Strategy Team to help shape the future of customer experiences powered by Generative AI
- As a key member of ASAPP's Customer Growth organization, you will partner with Customer Success and Engineering teams to deliver strategic insights and maximize the value that the world's largest brands derive from our platform
- Your analysis will directly influence how customers interact with leading brands, while your recommendations will help guide the direction of our evolving AI products
- In this role, you will analyze large-scale Generative AI deployments, uncover and communicate strategic opportunities, influence product roadmaps, and craft compelling narratives around performance and impact
- The ideal candidate is a compelling storyteller with deep analytical expertise, a strong grasp of customer behavior, and a track record of translating data-driven insights into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Partner with large enterprises to develop roadmaps for their CXP (Customer Experience Platform) deployment strategy
- Analyze data from customer service interactions to identify trends and to provide actionable recommendations to maximize value
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling presentations for senior stakeholders
- Influence product roadmap by identifying key areas for innovation and improvement
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to shape account strategy, create forecasts, and quantify impact of technology
- Identify creative new ways to analyze data at scale
Our take
With around 70% of purchases driven by customer experience, call centers are an important part of many large companies' sales operations. But call centers have a problem retaining skilled agents, with high pressure and workloads leading to a turnover rate more than double other workforces. ASAPP is aiming to fix that by providing AI tools to support call center agents by reducing their data entry and reporting workload.
ASAPP is by no means alone in this space, with other startups such as Lang, Gong and Cogito entering the AI call-center market along with growing interest from giants such as Amazon and Google. But it's early start (ASAPP was founded in 2014) and focus on development of its NLP models gives it an edge that it seems set to retain, with a client base consisting of enterprise companies such as JetBlue, EY and American Airlines.
In 2024, ASAPP continued to lead the way in generative AI for contact centers, with the launch of its GenerativeAgent product, redefining customer service by automating 99% of interactions and boosting efficiency and satisfaction. With strong partnerships and a history of success, ASAPP is ready for even more growth.

Previously, he served as the CTO at TRANSFR and spent 19 years at IBM, joining as a Software Engineer before becoming a Solutions Portfolio Manager, Development Manager of IBM Watson Education, and Development Leader of Watson Education Platform.
