Who you are

  • This is open to Sophomores and Juniors and is a full time co-op. This role is HYBRID and you must be located in the Boston area (2 days a week in the office is required)
  • Strong written communication and grammatical skills are essential for generating engaging content that attracts potential candidates

What the job involves

  • As the Content Marketing Co-op on our Employer Brand team, you'll create and implement content strategies for social media and digital channels to showcase our company culture, values, and job openings
  • By the end of the co-op, you'll gain practical experience in content marketing and recruitment, work on impactful projects, and receive mentorship from industry professionals
  • Content Creation:
  • Develop engaging content (including writing and proofreading copy) for various platforms including employer profiles, blogs, social media, and recruitment materials
  • Interview employees from across the company to craft content that provides an authentic view into life at Toast
  • Assist in creating and editing multimedia content such as graphics, videos, and presentations
  • Stay up to date on hiring priorities and company events to generate content leads
  • Regularly review content produced by other teams across the company to stay informed and find opportunities for partnership and amplification
  • Social Media Management:
  • Support the development and execution of social media campaigns focused on employer branding for both Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Monitor @LifeAtToast on Instagram by engaging with followers and responding to comments or inquiries
  • Analyze social media performance and provide insights to optimize engagement and reach
  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor employer branding strategies, and candidate preferences
  • Assist in analyzing the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns and content performance
  • Provide recommendations based on data to improve content strategies and recruitment efforts

  • Experience with Canva and video editing is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • Experience in employer branding, PR, communications or marketing is a plus

They studied at MIT before co-founding Klick Mobile in 2009 and spending almost 7 years at Endeca. They left their Management role in June 2012 having co-founded Toast in May.

Having studied Computer Science at MIT, they worked at Endeca for 5 years. They moved from working as Product Manager to work full-time as President of Toast in 2013, having co-founded it the previous year.

They also studied Computer Science at MIT before working as an Engineer for Endeca for over 4 years. They worked at Oracle for 5 months prior to co-founding Toast in May 2012.
