Who you are

Arondite is looking for an experienced and versatile software engineer to lead our growing software engineering team
You should have 5+ years of development experience in building complex, multi-user systems, and have spent some time managing or mentoring other engineers
Are an ambitious builder with extremely strong software engineering skills
Have designed, implemented and delivered enterprise-level software
Care about the ethical defence of sovereign democracies
Want to work closely with cutting-edge AI and integrate with edge hardware
Want to see your work used with impact in the real-world (affecting atoms, not just bits)
This role will require the individual to hold, or be willing to undergo UK security vetting to Security Check (SC) or above. This normally requires continuous residency in the UK for at least 5 years

Whilst this is a senior role, you will still be writing code in various languages including TypeScript, Python and Rust on a daily basis
You will join Arondite at a pivotal moment in the company’s journey

You will design and build software to enable autonomous systems to collaborate, process vast quantities of data, and take meaningful action
You will iterate closely with and enhance the capabilities of end users who do globally impactful work
The software you create will present complex information in an intuitive way to enable humans to task, control and supervise multiple robotic and autonomous systems
