Role
Who you are
- 3–6 years in B2B sales with a proven track record of hitting quota
- Proven at outbound prospecting and building pipeline from zero
- Energized by field sales - walking into venues and meeting operators face to face
- A consultative seller with strong communication and relationship-building instincts
- Organized, self-directed and motivated by targets
- Comfortable in a CRM (HubSpot or similar)
- Excited by ambiguity and ownership - you want to build, not inherit
Desirable
- Experience selling into hospitality and food service: restaurant tech, POS/payments, packaging or F&B distribution
- Some evidence of leadership - mentored reps, led a pod, trained new hires or built process others adopted (formal management experience a plus, not required)
- Genuine affinity for independent operators; you care about the businesses you sell to
What the job involves
- Own a New York territory end to end: prospect, walk into venues, run discovery with operators and owners, and close high-value customers
- Build pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting and in-person outreach across hospitality and takeaway brands in NYC
- Run high-quality discovery meetings, recommend the right packaging solutions and close new business
- Maintain a disciplined follow-up cadence across email, calls, texts and visits; consistently hit monthly and quarterly targets
- Codify what works into a repeatable US sales playbook: ICP, outreach cadences, discovery frameworks, objection handling
- Partner with the founders on territory strategy, targets and comp design for the US team
- Hire, onboard and coach the first US sales reps as the market grows
- Own pipeline hygiene and CRM accuracy, and feed customer insights back to marketing and operations
