Role
Who you are

- Experience in an office support role or similar is desired but not required. This role would be ideal for an uni grad looking to get stuck in and make a difference!
What the job involves
- Support with organising and arranging office set-up for the team, and for new joiners
- Support the tech team with management of staff laptops and IT
- Ensure the team are set up to succeed in the office and when working from home
- Be the go-to person for any odd jobs or unexpected tasks that arise, and assist the Chief of Staff in supporting the team
- Monitor and manage office supplies, including stationery, IT supplies, kitchen supplies, and other essential items
- Order and replenish food, drinks, and other consumables to ensure the office is always stocked
- Support the Chief of Staff with office management, such as fire safety and first aid management
- Support the Chief of Staff with managing training records and compliance
- Support team with social and event planning
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
- Support the People team with recruitment and onboarding, including setting-up new employees, ensuring they have all the necessary tools and information to get started

Our take
New cars and vans powered wholly by petrol and diesel will not be sold in the UK from 2030. Because of this, there is expected to be a huge shift in the market towards electric vehicles. In 2021, hybrid and plug-in electric vehicles accounted for just 18.5% of car registrations, so there is a long way to go.
From 6th April 2020 the UK government introduced huge tax savings for people who lease an electric vehicle through their company. The Electric Car Scheme makes it easy for people to access these tax savings through salary sacrifice, essentially offering the Cycle-to-Work Scheme - but for electric cars.
Anyone looking to lease an electric car can use The Electric Car Scheme to get the tax savings. That’s 20-50% off of the cost of the car lease, which makes it much more attractive than petrol or diesel cars. The Electric Car Scheme has great tailwinds given the shift, and will be moving fast to try and capitalise on it.
