Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience working as a Junior Designer with experience in creative paid and organic social assets as well as CRM design
- The successful candidate will have a brilliant eye for detail and a love for all things design. You’re passionate about all things skincare and have heaps of new ideas to bring to projects
- Around 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally within the beauty industry
- An obsession with all things social and the online beauty / skincare community
- Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, PremierePro and After Effects
- Photography and video skills are desirable
- An excellent eye for design and attention to detail
- Happy to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills - you’ll be working with people in different teams across the company
- A team player who’s happy to get stuck in, from bringing new campaign ideas to popping to the post office
- Innovative and entrepreneurial nature, highly self-organised and able to prioritise your workload
What the job involves
- As Junior Designer you’ll work closely with Creative + Growth teams to create a constant stream of exciting, effective, engaging and on-brand marketing assets for all Skin + Me channels
- With a focus on designing for our paid and organic social channels and CRM design, you’ll take on a pivotal role in the business as we embark on our next stage of growth
- Create still and animated assets for Skin + Me digital and print channels
- Be involved in the end to end creation of paid ads working closely with the Growth Marketing Manager
- Create engaging designs for our newsletters and other CRM assets
- Bring new exciting social media ideas to life through collaboration with our Social Media team
- Create images for articles in our online magazine, The Dose
- Support the wider marketing team, from influencers to PR and partnerships, with creating bespoke assets for their channels
- Potential to assist on in-house photo/video shoots
- Be a brand guardian and a brand champion, ensuring high quality, consistent creative across all touchpoints

Back in 2018, Skin + Me's founders identified a huge problem in the world of skincare: people don’t just struggle with their skin – they struggle with how they’re supposed to deal with it. With no truly effective solutions available, the company set out to build a pioneering online dermatology service that provides personalised skincare.
Skin + Me takes customers through a simple online medical consultation and work with dermatologists to prescribe a treatment, personalised to the individual. Part of the company's unique selling point is that its made-to-order formulation arrives through a subscription box each month and comes in a ‘Daily Doser’ – a specially designed bottle that dispenses the exact amount of the product needed for daily application.
Skin + Me is supported by a team of dermatologists, pharmacists and direct-to-consumer experts, which allows it to deliver across the business - from skin science to building the technology platform behind it. The company's growth plans include continual development of its services while ensuring it sticks to its ethos: providing desired, effective, and personalised skincare.
