What the job involves

Reporting to the Global Director of Sales Development, the Manager of Sales Development will be responsible for managing a team of Raleigh-based Sales Development Representatives
The role of this group is to help drive new customer acquisition and corporate growth by qualifying inbound marketing leads and engaging in proactive and targeted outbound prospecting
The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of business development, performance management and team leadership experience, and have a proven track record of over-achieving both personal and team-based targets to make a real difference, every day
Recruit, hire, train, and lead the SDR team by providing coaching and mentoring – specific focus on People, Process, and Performance
Regularly collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and efficiency
Work closely with the senior leadership to develop, manage and enhance key elements of the Alteryx demand generation model
Contribute to in-office, winning sales culture through your unique and authentic leadership style
Leverage your knowledge of Salesforce CRM and other tech tools to manage and track team performance that delivers predictable overachievement on pipeline targets
Communicate team and individual performance metrics across the business – this is a high visibility role

Our take

Alteryx brings a suite of tools to automate data driven processes on a large scale, massively speeding up data based procedures. The system also uses AI to analyse data and provide insights to enable rapid decision making.

What Alteryx does differently from other data science tool developers is focus on the accessibility of its software, taking a low code / no code approach. This allows for greater collaboration between people with differing skill sets, speeding up processes for its users.

The business has made some strategic partnerships over time, most notably with Snowflake and Blue Prism. With AI becoming more, Alteryx is projected to make major inroads in its market as more companies turn to automated solutions for data analysis.
