- 10+ years of experience in product, with a proven track record in B2B product organizations leading tech through large enterprise strategic partnerships
- An experienced people manager. You have managed teams and people managers for 5-7+ years. You have a proven track record of coaching and managing diverse teams, helping them achieve strong results and level up in their careers
- Highly collaborative. You love being the bridge between tech teams and business teams. You see problems from both perspectives and adeptly drive alignment across multiple teams
- A quick study. Healthcare is complicated; you’re curious by nature and excited to get into the details and become an expert in health insurance infrastructure, from how claims are processed to how payments flow through the healthcare system
- Strategic and analytical. You can turn new, nebulous ideas into implementable projects, and diagnose pain points and solution design a sustainable path forward. You use qualitative and quantitative insights to clarify decisions wherever possible
- An end-to-end thinker. You can look at a problem and create a solution all the way from top-level goals to fine-tuned operational and system details

What the job involves
- As a Vice President of Product Solutions, you’ll be responsible for building out and leading the product implementation pillar to evolve our org to successfully scale with the growing +Oscar business
- You will be a key senior leader and partner closely with peers within tech to set us on a path to onboard future clients successfully and more efficiently
- Within the scope of prospective and existing +Oscar clients, you will be the primary point of contact for department leaders in Business Development, Implementation and Customer Success, Platform Strategy, and Operations
- Your starting mandate will include designing the role of product in the business development and solution design processes, establishing principles and operating model of client and product implementation with those cross-functional leaders, and synthesizing client feedback and working with Product Management to incorporate into our product strategy
- You will report to the Chief Product Officer
- Setting direction: defining a clear strategy and vision for how product solutions can extend and support a B2B product organization and enable +Oscar growth
- Research, propose, and establish an appropriate operating model between business development, implementation and customer success, and tech with aligned roles and responsibilities
- Lead the discovery process for a data integration layer that supports the +Oscar offering
- Structure and lead the team that will establish processes and templates for supporting costing exercises related to build and run activities for standing up different clients, in addition to knowledge management and documentation to support and educate international and external audiences on product capabilities

Oscar Health is focused on building a system of healthcare that is completely centered around its members' experience, offering direct-to-consumer insurance, with digital tools such as a virtual care experience forming a key part of the company’s business model.
Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform. It gained a competitive edge by launching the "My Identity" functionality in 2021, that demonstrated a huge step for diversity and inclusion in healthcare, enabling users to input their names, pronouns and gender identity. It also provides access to health providers that will understand a user's language, race, ethnicity, and health situation, showcasing the company's focus on optimizing member experiences.
The company has secured good funding in the past, and expanded into new markets and states since its launch. This has fuelled growth and supported ventures such as its Culturally Competent Care Grant Program. An upcoming market expansion forms a key part of the company's plans to "more than double" membership by 2027.
