What the job involves

Manage and provide leadership to teams responsible for HPC, networking, information security, and database administration
Work with the teams to design, build and maintain highly available and scalable IT infrastructure
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of networking and security solutions
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to information security and data privacy, including SOC 2 certification
Provide strategic direction and manage the career growth of the teams
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operation of IT services
Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their potential impact on the organization
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for software and hardware procurement
Manage budgets and ensure cost optimization in the infrastructure management
