What the job involves

As the fourth person at Granola (and second in engineering), you'll play a fundamental role in shaping the company and the product. This role will be primarily hands-on building. As we grow, there will be ample opportunity for career growth
With our support, you'll share responsibility for the technical direction of Granola. You're walking into a company with great foundations (lots of runway, great investors, exciting product direction and a solid technical base)
Iterate on Granola from early prototype to production-ready product and launch it to lots of people
Help define our engineering culture and practices, and grow the engineering team
Exercise great judgement on which tech investments to make now vs later
Figure out how to make fast and efficient use of LLMs: selecting models, chaining prompts, running models on-device, and evaluating if/when to build custom models
Build fast, beautiful, and reliable software that our users trust, and enjoy using for many hours each day
Explore real-time interactions: features like entity and topic detection, auto-completion, and multiplayer editing will let us be useful to our users while a meeting is underway
