Role
Who you are
- A security expert: You have 8+ years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and/or experience with compute technologies, storage, and/or hardware architecture with hands-on experience in software development, data structures/algorithms, and building and maintaining security programs in high-growth software businesses. You are knowledgeable of modern adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, and have a deep understanding of a variety of security challenges and threats across all levels. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

What the job involves
- This person will be a foundational piece in our growing security arm, working closely with senior engineering leadership to set security standards and strategy
- As one of the first people in the function, this hire will be a hands-on leader in the security apparatus as we continue to grow
- Developing a comprehensive security plan alongside our senior engineering leadership, including strategy, tooling, and protocols
- Implementing, supporting, and maintaining said security system and helping to update training materials for the broader organization
- Triaging security events initiated from tools and serving as an SME for tooling platforms during incidents
- Developing and upholding documentation for Incident Response Playbooks and Security Tooling processes
- Driving projects in all major security verticals including AppSec, InfraSec, OffSec, and Detection and Response
- Serving in a rotational on-call program to address security threats and issues

Some user feedback suggests the company still has some kinks to iron out on their platform, with multiple complaints about delayed or missing payments.
