Who you are

Previous experience as a Tech Lead, working closely with Product Management to scope and prioritize projects. Ability to take ownership of projects from technical discovery to code development, testing, quality assurance, and successful delivery to production.
Experience building front-end applications with modern Javascript Frameworks (Angular / React / Vue). Passionate about frontend architecture best practices, and collaboration with UX designers to implement a consistent product design.
Familiarity with backend development concepts (Java / Spring) such as domain modeling, API design, SQL, and performance. Willing to work lower down the stack if needed.
Good judgement in making tradeoffs to balance short-term business needs with long-term technical quality.
Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work autonomously with a sense of ownership.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English and the ability to work well within a team, and with teams across the engineering organization.
You can travel to Germany (about 2 to 4 times a year for team and company events).

What the job involves

You will take over the Tech Lead role for the Core Squad, which is responsible for importing data from customers into Resourcify's systems.
Lead and oversee the Core Squad’s technical domain, ensuring efficient collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to meet business goals.
Develop a future plan for our technical systems by combining our product goals and understanding of current systems for the squad and departments. Use this insight to make informed decisions for short and long-term gains.
Enable engineers, both inside and outside your immediate team in shipping code to building out technical solutions.
Nurture a culture of technical quality and operational excellence within the Engineering Department.
Pair program with & mentor other engineers in developing their technical and collaboration skills.
Help write & review code from the squad, in order to implement technical solutions.
