Who you are
- Demonstrated experience in a quantitative role or project, e.g. analytics, consulting, data science
- You are currently enrolled in your last year of a French engineering or business school, with specialization in data science
- Proficiency using SQL to query large data sets, with a strong understanding of statistics and experimentation
- Full professional English proficiency
- You are impact-focused, eager to jump in and work in a fast-paced environment
- You are a strong critical thinker, excited to solve ambiguous problems

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an outstanding Product Data Analyst intern to join our Paris-based team and help Front make data-driven decisions about our product
- In this role, you will be working at the intersection of data insights and product strategy, leveraging data to inform high-impact business and product decisions
- You will conduct analysis throughout the product development process, sizing opportunities, analyzing experiments, developing and monitoring key metrics, and informing strategic decisions with data
- AI is transforming the customer support and with over 12 years of experience building customer operations solutions, Front is in a unique position to shape this transformation, and you’ll be working on it hand in hand with our product development team!
- Making actionable recommendations about product strategy and prioritization based on a deep understanding of customer engagement and behavior
- Partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and analytics functions across the company to identify opportunities, drive key metrics, and set strategy across multiple product areas
- Generating insights by conducting exploratory analysis, assessing trends, and analyzing A/B tests
- Evangelizing insights and scaling access to product data, building a data-driven culture across the company
- Collaborating with other data & analytics functions to ensure we have the right data foundations in place
Our take
When a business receives an email from a customer it can set off a chain of forwarded emails across the company, an inefficient process where information (and sales!) can easily get lost. Front exists to change this, consolidating all customer communications into a single shared inbox which can be accessed by teams of any size and completely eliminates the need for internal emails.
With more companies moving to remote working and eCommerce becoming the predominant form of conducting business, Front's product has been enthusiastically received by over 8,000 companies, including Mailchimp, Shopify and Convoy. However, it is by no means alone in this space, with huge competitors such as Google and Microsoft providing communications solutions and other internal communications tools such as Slack gaining traction. Front may have an edge here, though: its unified solution also provides automated workflows, ticketing and analytical tools that are either absent or less well integrated in competing offerings.
In 2022, Front raised investments in a Series D round and achieved unicorn status with a valuation of over $1 billion. Now with $100 million in annual recurring revenue, it's moving to further develop its product and increase its market share, hiring new talent ahead of a possible IPO in the near future.
