Who you are
- A sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement strategic programs from ideation to launch
- A data-driven mindset and ability to excel at connecting the dots and solving complex problems
- Comfort with data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL a plus.)
- Experience in Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues
- Love for process design and optimization
- Curiosity for how things work and high attentiveness to detail
- 2-3 years experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or revenue / business operations, preferably in the SaaS industry
What the job involves
- As a Senior Sales Operations and Strategy Analyst, your primary focus will be on enhancing and accelerating our GTM strategy through analytics within the Sales Strategy & Operations domain
- This entails developing operational rigor, documenting key processes, crafting visualizations using our BI tool, Sigma, and conducting insightful ad hoc analyses to support and optimize sales performance
- In this role, you'll partner broadly across GTM functions and leverage your analytical expertise to translate business needs into actionable insights
- Your responsibilities will also extend to mentoring and training team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and empowerment within the Revenue Operations and Analytics community
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities and craft solutions that enhance sales effectiveness
- Evaluate and streamline sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, working closely with sales and operations teams to implement improvements
- Program manage key GTM initiatives through working with cross functional partners to develop scope, manage deliverables, required resources, and project plans
- Partner with Business Applications and Data Science teams to optimize the organization's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring data accuracy, training users, and optimizing workflows to support sales objectives
- Document sales processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across the sales organization, facilitating training and onboarding of new team members
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to assess individual and team sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and recognizing top performers
- Implement scalable and concise data analyses in Excel / Google Sheets
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects

Since its 2014 launch, the company has evolved from an early focus on customer reviews to cover payment and messaging solutions. With a focus on SMS communications, it's already powering over 100,000 businesses in the US such as La-Z-Boy, Trane Technologies, Zerorez, Ken Garff Auto Group, and Rotmans. Its most recent valuation put Podium at over $3 billion.
Podium is continuing to come out with new services, including the full payments offering with the launch of card readers and a new campaign marketing solution. Its foray into payments has gone better than planned, perhaps unsurprisingly so considering the forced shift to mobile and digital payments in recent years.
